The best unfaired run has been 123.075. I put a Peel Mountain Mile fairing on last Sept and it ran 124.700. The Norton is a 1960 and the motor is late 70s give or take. Don't know for certain. Don't really care. Its just fun to go fast.

It has a hand made rear tailsection, alloy shoulderd racing wheels with chrome spokes and sticky Avon's. Instead of the usual back -breaking Clip-ons it has Honda Hwak drag bars. I added the Old Bike Barn Fairing (i'm going to replace it with a Dunstall fairing soon) and stuck on the Bar-end mirrors. Its goes liek arocket and will embarass most 750's.

Ended up buying the bike from the owner after I mowed the lawn to get to it! 250 bucks plus a couple hours of sweat and it was mine. Junkyard finds included: Clubman bars $10, original seat $15, side covers 25 for both. It didn't take much to get her running sweet, so much so I stuffed a guy on his new BMW through turns and the onramp. Of course when we got to the straight away I was reading his rapidly shrinking license plate!
