KZ 400 project1002 viewsFound this little 78 KZ 400 chained to a tree, like a dog! Ended up buying the bike from the owner after I mowed the lawn to get to it! 250 bucks plus a couple hours of sweat and it was mine. Junkyard finds included: Clubman bars $10, original seat $15, side covers 25 for both. It didn't take much to get her running sweet, so much so I stuffed a guy on his new BMW through turns and the onramp. Of course when we got to the straight away I was reading his rapidly shrinking license plate!
